- In this class you will learn the brick stitch technique.

- Right-angle weave can be intimidating at first, but we'll
take the pain out of it and you'll see how versatile it can

- The Basic Beading class will show students how to design
their custom made jewelry. This class is great for first
time bead stringers, as students will receive instructions
for making a bracelet and pair of earrings in the class.

Saturday - July 10th - - (Simple Cold
Connections) - In this class, you will learn
two simple methods of cold connection: wire rivets and
tube rivets. You will see how to measure and fit rivets,
and you will set them into a simple practice pendant of
copper, brass, and sterling. We will discuss how to make
rivets part of your design, as well as how to make them
blend in. We will also talk about texturing and finishing
metal pieces. A handout provides information on sources
and techniques. (Supplies are $7.00 to the
teacher day of class.)

Monday - July 12th - (Interlaced Loops)
- Two strands of ladder stitched cubes are connected with
loops and then smaller loops forms a low fringe along the
outer side edge. This one takes some time to make, but is

Saturday - July17th - (Basic Peyote Bracelet)
- If you have been waiting to learn the peyote stitch, this
is a great class to start! The student will be using size 8
hex seed beads to make this attractive bracelet. Peyote

Saturday - July 17th - (Wire Wrapping an Oval
Cabochon) - Learn how to create a stunning
pendant centerpiece with a cab or fused glass. In this class
you'll learn how to secure the focal with sterling silver
wire and embellish with crystals if you desire. You will
also learn how to use the tools that are required to help
shape your wire. (Supplies not included.)

Saturday - July 17th - (Bezeled Rivoli)
- Create a beautiful pendant or ring as you learn how to
bezel set a Swarovski crystal rivoli and embellish around
it, creating a dazzling pendant or ring. Class will cover
creating a bail, so the pendant can be strung on chain,
cord, or ribbon. This technique can be used for additional
projects; just attach to jump ring and earrings or it can
simply be connected together with additional bezel set
rivoli for a stunning bracelet. (Must
know peyote stitch)

- In this class the student will be using cubed beads that
are sewed in a ladder stitch to form a foundation row to
begin the herringbone stitch. This is a striking design and

- Square stitch is a good, strong stitch, and simple to
learn. It is a substitute for beading on a loom. You'll

(3 Different Styles of
Wire Earrings) - Learn how to make three very
different earrings and get three totally different looks.
The Celtic Spiral Earrings are inspired by ancient jewelry
and are lot of fun to make. Making this earring will teach
you how to make tight scrolls and how to use jump rings.
Pendulum Earrings are very versatile. Depending on the beads
you use, these can be very casual or by using crystals you
can make them very elegant. Ancient World Earrings look like
they would have been at home on the vanity of a Roman woman
long ago. A great trio of earrings that will expand your
wire skills and give you fabulous earrings to wear. You will
have fun in this class. You will leave with new skills and
some very pretty finished pieces.

Saturday -July 31st - (Elegant Wire Ring)
- This is an intermediate level project, so the student
needs to have some experience with wire. In this class the
student will learn to make a stunning wire wrapped ring
using more advanced skills, taking their work to a new more
sophisticated level. Using square and half round wire the
student will learn to construct a setting for a cabochon and
an attractive elegant band. (Supplies not included.)
